Good cleaning depends far more on the right method than on strong chemicals. Hot water extraction, a proper pre-treatment and careful rinsing do most of the work.
Where products are needed, I choose biodegradable, low-residue options matched to the fibre, and I rinse thoroughly so nothing sticky is left to attract dirt again.

The right method, minimal chemicals
Dry soil out first, then a fibre-matched clean using biodegradable products.
Before I leave

We check the result together and I tell you when the room is ready to use.
The full eco process (8 steps)
- Assessment. Fibre, soiling and any sensitivities checked.
- Dry vacuum. The more dry soil removed, the less product is needed.
- Fibre-matched pre-treatment. Biodegradable, low-residue products.
- Gentle agitation. Loosens soil mechanically rather than chemically.
- Hot water extraction. Hot water does much of the cleaning work.
- Thorough rinse. No sticky residue left behind.
- Spot treatment. Targeted, only where it’s needed.
- Drying advice. Ventilation tips to help it dry quickly.

Yes. Most of the result comes from the method, vacuuming, agitation and hot water extraction, rather than strong chemicals.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. I use low-residue products and rinse thoroughly, and I’ll tell you when the room can be used again.
Can you avoid fragrances?
Yes, just mention it and I’ll use fragrance-free products.
Will tough stains still come out?
Many will. Some stains need a specific spotting agent; I’ll use the gentlest one that works and tell you first.
Is it more expensive?
No. It’s simply how I prefer to clean. The price depends on the job, not the products.
Do you clean upholstery this way too?
Yes, sofas, chairs, rugs and mattresses can all be cleaned with the same gentle approach.
