Bedroom carpet cleaning

Across the borough

One carpet cleaner for the whole of Bexley.

From period terraces in Erith and Belvedere to between-the-wars semis in Bexleyheath and Sidcup and newer homes around Thamesmead, the borough has every kind of carpet, and they don’t all want the same treatment.

Wool and wool-mix carpets need gentler heat and a different pre-spray from hard-wearing synthetics, and older carpets can shrink or brown if they’re over-wetted. That’s why I check the fibre before anything else and adjust the clean to suit, something that comes from around 15 years of doing this.

There’s no office and no team of strangers: the person you message is the person who turns up. Closer to Welling? See carpet cleaning in Welling.

Thanks Priya, lounge, hallway and the stairs in Sidcup, no problem. I can do Wednesday morning, would that suit?

On the day

Fibre check, honest advice, then the clean

Before the machine goes on, I tell you which marks I expect to lift and which may stay, then I get to work room by room.

Before I leave

A walk-round together

We go room by room so you can see the result. Anything that needs a second pass gets one before I pack up.

My carpet cleaning process, step by step
  1. Walk-through. You point out the problem areas.
  2. Fibre identification. Wool, blend or synthetic, it sets the method.
  3. Room prep. Small items moved, skirting and edges protected.
  4. Pre-vacuum. Grit and dry soil out first.
  5. Pre-spray. Stains and walkways treated to loosen grime.
  6. Brush agitation. Works the solution down into the pile.
  7. Hot water extraction. Rinsed and extracted with Prochem kit.
  8. Walk-round and drying tips. Result checked with you before I leave.

FAQ

Carpet cleaning in Bexley: questions answered.

Can’t find the answer? Just send me a message.

What does carpet cleaning cost in Bexley?

Every job starts from the £80 minimum booking. A single lounge, a whole house or just the stairs are all priced differently, so the quickest way to an exact price is a few photos on WhatsApp.

Which parts of Bexley do you cover?

The whole borough, Bexley Village (DA5), Bexleyheath (DA6, DA7), Sidcup (DA14, DA15), Welling (DA16), Erith (DA8), Crayford, Belvedere and the areas in between. I’m based in Welling, so none of it is far.

Do I have to be home while you clean?

Ideally yes, at least at the start and the end. We walk through the rooms together before I begin, and check the result together before I leave.

Can you clean carpets before I move out of a rented home?

Yes. End-of-tenancy carpet cleans can cover every room in one visit, and you get an invoice you can show your landlord or letting agent.

Will my carpets be soaking wet afterwards?

No. The water is extracted straight back out by the machine, so carpets are left damp rather than wet. How long they take to dry depends on the carpet and the room. I’ll give you an estimate before I go.

Is it safe for children and pets?

Once the carpet is dry, children and pets can use the room as normal. I’ll tell you when that is before I leave.
