A mattress is one of the most used things in a home and one of the least cleaned. Over time it collects skin cells, sweat, dust mites and bacteria that a vacuum alone can’t reach.
I use deep extraction with controlled moisture, so the mattress isn’t left soaked, and hypoallergenic, fragrance-free products, a good fit for allergy sufferers, children and pet owners.
You deal with me from the first message to the final check. With around 15 years of experience, I clean the mattress myself, in your bedroom.

The full mattress process (8 steps)
- Inspection. Fabric, stains and any odour checked first.
- Deep vacuum. Dust and skin flakes lifted from the surface, seams and edges.
- Stain pre-treatment. Each mark treated according to what caused it.
- Hypoallergenic clean. Fragrance-free products suitable for sensitive skin.
- Controlled extraction. Dirt and residue rinsed out without soaking the filling.
- Odour treatment. Where needed, targeted at the source rather than masked.
- Edges & sides. Piping, handles and sides cleaned too.
- Drying advice. When it’s ready to sleep on and how to help it dry.

Several mattresses, or a mattress and a carpet, can be done in one visit. The quote is based on your photos. If anything is very different on the day, we talk it through and you agree to any change first.

How much does mattress cleaning cost?
Jobs start from the £80 minimum booking. The price depends on the size and the condition. Send a couple of photos for a clear quote.
How long until I can sleep on it?
Usually the same evening, depending on the mattress and how airy the room is. I’ll give you a realistic time before I leave.
Is it suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes. I use hypoallergenic, fragrance-free products and remove as much dust and debris as possible before the clean.
Can you remove urine stains and smells?
Often, yes. It depends on how long ago it happened and how deep it went. I’ll tell you honestly what I expect before I start.
Do you clean both sides?
If the mattress can be turned, yes. Many modern mattresses are one-sided, so I clean the sleeping surface and the sides.
Can you clean memory foam?
Yes, with a low-moisture method. Memory foam shouldn’t be soaked, so I keep water to a minimum.
